"Maybe this sounds lame or hard to explain. Sometimes on long flights I just think about things in my life over and over, I want to write them down but there's not always the right words that can tell the story of what's going on in my head, so I use music instead. More often than not I keep these pieces to myself because they aren't really 'coherent' & 'releasable' songs. The last time I released anything close was my 'Hotel Rooms' album.
Anyway I thought I'd share this one that I wrote today on the flight from Hong Kong to LA. I guess it's just a story, but one I have to say with music."
